Book Notes

book notes

On April 20th I came up with an idea. I came up with this idea after seen several similar things around the internet, and I wanted to give my own spin to it.

What I wanted is to do something nice for the people around us. Everywhere in the world, there’s so much negativity and I wanted to counter that, even if it was only for a day. So, I came up with the plan to put notes in library books (or books your selling, books that other people will read in any case). On those notes are little messages with compliments or some other positive message. It could be as simple as ‘I hope you have a great day, today” or “You are awesome!” or quotes with positive messages can be used (Dr. Seuss is my personal favourite) just something to make people smile.

I posted about it right here on my blog and within days I had a whole list of wonderful people who liked my idea and were eager to take part. Some were really into the idea, agreeing with writing periodic blogs about subjects that are related to the message we’re trying to put out, so that could be blogs about bullying or body-image or anything they can come up with. Others are helping us spread notes all around the world.

And when I say all around the world, I mean all around the world. A list of our contributors:

Amazing, isn’t it?

Anyway, the project is still in it’s early stages right now but I’m really curious about where it might lead. I mean.. with so many people all around the world. It could really become something, couldn’t it?
