Starting a new list: Books Read in 2014

New year, new list.

Just a short post to tell you all quickly about the new menu button that is up there from now on. Instead of ‘Books Read in 2013‘ it now says ‘Books Read in 2014‘. You can still find the list of books read in 2013 in the sub menu of that button.

That button I got at the Local bookstore in my neighborhood. Along with 2 books that I bought with the gift card that I got for Christmas. These are the books I bought:

I had never heard of either of these books before but they were both recommended by the Staff. Await Your Reply (Thriller & Mystery) sounds amazing and intriguing. I read a couple of pages while I was having a coffee and it made me want to keep reading. First I need to finish Handle with Care though..

And Eleanor & Park (YA) also sounded good and had a review by John Green on the back.. well must be good then, right? Can’t wait to start reading them!

  1. Eleanor & Park is a fabulous read! Rainbow Rowell did a fantastic job depicting what it’s like to be an awkward teenager in the 80’s, and I really liked how she ended the book. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

  2. I’ve been hearing a lot of awesome things about Eleanor & Park, and I almost bought it for my school library, but thought against it. I’ve spent enough of my hard-earned cash on these kids 😉 Maybe when the Scholastic Book order forms come around I’ll take advantage of it (if it’s available 😦 ).
    Love the pin too!
