Blink and you’re dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don’t turn your back. Don’t look away. And don’t blink. Good Luck.

  1. My vote for scariest episode ever is tied between this one and The Empty Child. (If I want to totally freak out my wife I need only ask ‘Are you my mommy?)

Wait till you’ve seen the library and encountered the Silence. Daleks and Cybermen are like puppies to banshees by comparison.

P.S. When you reach 11, give him a chance. He grows on you.

    1. The Empty Child is definitely the one that freaked me out the most with the Weeping Angels as a close second. I was just like saying it to my mother ‘are you my mummy?’ but unfortunately she doesn’t watch doctor who so she didn’t get it. She just stared at me and then said ‘ehm.. yea.. pretty sure I am’. 😛

I will give 11 a chance, the whole of Tumblr is crazy about him so I suppose he can’t be that bad. But I have to say, I still miss 9!

      1. There are some die-hard Tennant fans out there – don’t dare even mentioning another doctor to them. I loved him, but I love Matt Smith as well. They each bring something else to the character. They’re not better or worse, merely different. And Eccleston was my first Doctor, so he’ll always have a special place. A greater concern perhaps is that the writers and producers are not equal. An actor can only do so much with the scripts he’s given.

I really want to get my hands on some of the previous doctors. Don’t know any of them.

  2. I love that you posted this! I love that quote along with “This is my timey-wimey detector. It goes ding when there’s stuff.” 🙂 I just followed you via WordPress!
